We have been busy keeping all the balls in the air around here! (keep jokes to yourself!) So we haven’t had much to post!
THAT ALL CHANGES RIGHT NOW!!!
We are now the happy owners of the following!!!!
1 40# Fryer, in fact this one!

A fine work top refrigerator

and check it out a french fry cutter!

we also got some boring stuff (Well not to us! ) like a POS system, a CC machine, various saute’ pans, and some fire extinguishers!! It was a good day for CCB, we got almost all of our equipment for 1/2 of what we wanted to spend!!! WHOO HOO!!

So we went and looked at another truck. This one was an old military truck. It was painted all white. It had all the electrical wiring. It needed some work, quite a bit actually. The was one GLARING problem.
You had to be an NBA player to be able to reach where the window was. Stacy stood by it and felt like a 4 year old trying to hand money to the candy clerk! So the search continues!
On another note tho’
We just ordered 1300 bottles, lids and wrap! We should get everything on Tuesday!! Then we will be up to our eyeballs in sauce and bottling!!!
We have also spoken to our spice supplier for them to “Co-Pack” our dry rub!! SO, that will take one thing directly out of our hands. We trust them with it, as it isn’t a complex recipe like our sauces are. It may take a bit to get to the point where we allow someone else do our sauces!
ANY WAY the search for THE truck continues but we are moving forward in other directions!!
Take care of each other,
~CCB
Hey guys!
Here is your update for what’s happening with our heroes, CCB!

We unfortuatly don’t have a truck update, but we do have a couple of things going on that we want to tell you about.
Today John attended a “Local Producers Meet and Greet” with Whole Foods in Boulder. A great meeting with many producers, that gave us a lot of great insight into what it takes to be in the big leagues. AND, he got to have a sit down with the Head Buyer for the Rocky Mountain Region. (all 27 stores!). We gave him samples of all 4 sauces and the Dry rub! SO, we will see where that leads. They are very big on starting small with people and adding stores as the little companies grow.
We have the preliminary order done for the T-shirts for the rewards for folks. We’re just waiting on a couple of responses to the survey we sent out to our Kickstarter supporters.
Tomorrow we will be doing a couple of things. Firstly, we will be placing an order for a half pallet of bottles from our local bottle supplier. That comes to 1300 bottles!! So we will be working on getting them filled for you and the local stores.
Also, tomorrow we are going to Fort Collins to look at a truck that we are quite excited about. We hope we are the 1st to see it because it will be snatched up quickly!
Hope all is well with you guys and if you need anything or have any questions, please let us know!
Take care of each other

This will be a quick update! NOTE TO MARRIED MEN: If you have something of value that you have decided to sell, make sure you have cleared said plan of selling said valuable item WITH YOUR WIFE FIRST!!!!
Spoke to the guy yesterday afternoon, set a time to meet up with him. “I’ll be working the truck tomorrow between the hours of 11-7! You’ll get to see it live and in color!!”
Got there, no guy, called the guy no answer! On my way home my phone rang and it was said gentleman. “Um yeah, I jumped the gun. My wife doesn’t want me to sell the truck!”
SO THERE YA GO!
Take care of each other,
~CCB
So like I said, I am going to keep you updated on our voyage down the CCB Truck dream.
Today Stacy and I went and looked at a truck. ~Meh? It was fine, but not sure I want it. A couple things about it.
1. It is a 1985 truck, with a rebuilt engine, but for the most part just a bare box. Which is fine, but if I am going to build it out I think I want something a bit newer.
2. It will need a paint job and removal of the Icecream stickers.
3. I am 5’11” tall and I think that the truck is 6’ tall, I don’t want to be crouching more then I have too!!
Tomorrow we have an appointment to look at another truck that is actually serving food right now. The guys is just looking to get out of the biz. SO, for a bit more we can get a fully functioning, health code passing truck. So we will see what he has and what he’ll take.
Take care of each other,
~CCB

So now that you guys have gotten us to our dream and helped make Kickstarter a success what’s next?
We start shopping for a truck. There are a couple of avenues we can go down, fully competed truck, a blank canvas and build our own, or go to a builder and have them do it.
We will see which way will give us the best possible way to get us on the road, and with me being a fix it my self kind of guy…..I think you see where I am going with this!
We have been in contact with the Health departments and cities we are going to be doing business in. So we are heading down the road to be compliant with them. So this is where we are right now!
This is probably the most exciting time of my life and I have all of you to thank for that! Thank you!
We will keep updating you as we move down this exciting road!
Thank you and take care of each other!
